RESOURCES

There is a lot of information out there, making it difficult to choose just one source for information.  I've put together this list of resources for you.  These websites, books, apps, etc., have really helped me on my oily journey.

Websites:

Young Living

www.YoungLiving.com

This one seems obvious but there is a lot of information Young Living has to offer that isn’t always easy to find.  Check out Members Resources in the Virtual Office for Young Living University, Product Catalogs, and much more information.  Understand that Young Living is prohibited from saying specific illnesses, which is why you may find better success in the beginning by using resources like Life Science Publishing’s Pocket Reference Book (below).

Young Living Blog

www.YoungLiving.com/Blog

Stay connected with all the latest Young Living information by visiting Young Living’s Blog regularly.  This blog offers recipes, DIY crafts, mind, spirit, home, and health information.  You can even sign up for a monthly or weekly email so you never miss a blog post!

Life Science Publishing

www.discoverlsp.com

This website has products and resources all revolved around the amazing Young Living products.  I recommend getting the "Essential Oils Pocket Reference" for starters to help you understand all of the oils and blends Young Living offers (See below).

Oil Testimonials

www.Oil-Testimonials.com

This is one of the most popular websites for sharing essential oil information.  Sign up for an account and search thousands of testimonials.  If you are ever confused about how to use an oil or if you have an ailment that is not in your other resources, search the Oil Testimonials.  People share what has worked for them and so that you can have another option when something isn’t working for you.  Everyone is different so every oil works differently for every person.

Abundant Health

www.AbundantHealth4U.com

This is another website you can use to purchase spray bottles, roller bottles, containers, cases, books, media, diffusers, cases, and a lot more!

Amazon

www.Amazon.com

Sometimes you can find a greater variety of glass containers, spray bottles, water bottles, and other products on Amazon.

Reference Books:

Life Science Publishing

Essential Oils Pocket Reference & Desk Reference

www.discoverlsp.com

Mentioned previously, I recommend the Essential Oils Pocket Reference Book.  This book gives you all the basic information you need to know about essential oils, how to use them, and there is also a Personal Usage Directory. Similar to the Abundant Health reference books, Life Science Publishing's reference books are a little more scientific.

Abundant Health

Reference Guide for Essential Oils

www.AbundantHealth4U.com

Similiar to Life Science Publishing, Abundant Health offers another option for for a reference guide.  This option is a little easier to read than the Life Science reference books.

Apps:

Reference Guide for Essential Oils

This app is great for quick, on-the-go questions.  This App has information on all of the oils and blends Young Living has to offer plus a personal guide and application techniques.  You can also take notes within the app and even purchase products.

Think Dirty

This app allows you to scan all the products you have or want to purchase and rates its toxicity level.  Let me know if you are looking for DIY recipes!

Social Media:

Facebook Group - The Oily Vegan

By joining me in natural health and chemical-free living, you will have access to my Facebook group.  Use this group for support and education.  Don't be afraid to ask questions!  You can also use the search tool to search through all of the discussions and posts to find answers.  Through this group, you will also be informed of some great promotions, webinars, and educational events.

My Tip:  Take it slow.  Learn one thing at a time.  There is so much information out there that it can become overwhelming.  And, don’t forget you can email me anytime at TheOilyVegan@Gmail.com!
